Weapon upgrades

How do I go about upgrading this axe? What attributes will I modify?

What do you mean, upgrading?

It already IS fully upgraded:
It has a haft (name prefix): "heavy"
It has a grip (name suffix): "of shelter"
It has an additional modifier: Damage +14%

If you want to upgrade it further you can only replace haft or grip with some other haft or grip.

This has probably already been covered, but I can't find it. If it has please don't ridicule me rather post a link.

Can the haft and grip be modified on axe? For instance, I have a Sundering axe of Fortitude 15>50. Is it possible to change it to a Zealous axe of Defense 15>50?

yes the mods can overwrite exsiting mods on a weapon

but you can use a haft and a grip mod at the same time?

Haft and grip are entirely different and won't replace one another.

So <insert your haft> <insert your axe> <Insert Your grip>

Both Haft and Grip are overwritable. But if you salvage it at the most only one will salvage off of it. Just be warned... In fact sometime you get neither... Just Iron or something like that...

Typically I add a prefix or suffix upgrade to perfect weapons so I don't have to salvage it later. Or Weapons with natural modifiers on it already.
