What drops half-eaten mass?

Like I said, what drops half-eaten mass?
I'm pretty sure it's what makes bolt of cloth, which is what I need and if I'm wrong correct me please and tell me what I really need.
I've gotten whatever makes bolt of cloth before and I'm pretty sure it's half-eaten mass, but I've forgotten if that's it for sure...
I know it's a devourer that drops it, but not what species and I want to know when I'm wasting my time.

i think carrion (sp?) devourers drop them on occasion.

Some charr armors salvage into cloth as well.

yeah, look for Charr hides for cloth, as well as some armors, robes, gear. The half-eaten mass? I would say, anything that looks like it would drop a half-eaten mass. ex. devourers and ettins.

Just to build on what SLUGFly said ... The best source I've found for cloth is Charr casters (Chaots, Ashen Claws, Fire Callers, etc.) ... their "garbs" and robes salvage into cloth.

One problem I've noticed with half-eaten mass is that they sometimes salvage into bone.

Undead armour can be salvaged for more cloth per use of the kit.

A half-eaten is just that, a HALF-EATEN mass. Not fully digested/eaten yet, so there could be anything in there: bones, part of clothing, anything....
