Ha! I gave away a Sup Vigor about 2 weeks into the game that a Charr dropped near Piken Square b/c I thought only warriors could use them and my only 2 chars I play are a Mo/Me and El/N.

LOL, been there, done that, got the tee shirt. Although mine usually looks something like "wwwwwwwwqeqeqwww1111....."

Speaking of the chat window, I hate that it goes back to local chat when you zone into a town. I can't count how many times I have replied to a team or guild question to all the locals after a mission or quest.

Not really a mistake on my part but, Has anybody got halfway or more through a quest only to notice that one or more of your henchmen are stuck behind some sort of object like a chest, barrel or sign? They are way to far behind to go and get so you just leave them. You really notice when their life isn't moving but fighting suddenly becomes much harder. Then you run into a tough boss your party dies and the lacky henchmen are standing there without a care in the world. So you have no choice but to log-off and restart Happen to me again last night. I think I'll try to keep a better eye on them

Last night a guildmate was giving me some plat so I could swap out some armor. I asked him (in guildchat) where we should meet, and he replied, "Tombs, District 11." So I merrily pop over to Tombs, District 11, and say cheerily in what I thought was guildchat, "Where's my sugar daddy?"

It was not guildchat.

Yep, none of us discovered it till we all started dying at the next big group of mobs. We had been slaughtering everything before and suddenly about half of us were dead. "Hey, why aren't we getting healed?" "Wait a minute, where's Alesia?" I double-clicked on her name and she's still standing by the chest we looted about three mobs back. GRRR....

Mostly selling things cheap out of impatience and regretting it later... Gold shocking sword of defense, max damage gold 1 handed cesta with some jazz on it, I am swimming in dye so I try and give that away when I can, and for some reason I find myself buying runes WHENEVER I can get a slightly good deal on them,

It's not really a new or noobish thing I supose, but since the update I seem to have trouble with the hench :P Got to the very end, defended the silly guy, and just as it tells me, "GET ON THE BOAT!" Well... as you can see I didn't make it

God! I love these henchmen.

hmm, well yesterday i got to Amnoon Oasis, and saw that there was a new armor guy and decided i was gonna get myself some new armor. i also needed to clean out my invo very badly, so i decided to salvage all of my armor to make room, since it was just sitting here. i thought to myself, hell, why not salvage what im wearing too im gonna go get new armor right away anways. so i salvaged every piece of armor i had. went to the armor guy started at the top and started buying a set of armor, and what do i discover? i dont have enough parchment to finish the set. so here i am with everything but leg armor, im in my undies! i run around to different towns trying to buy enough wood planks so that i could make parchment so i could get leg armor. i felt so dumb

Silly mistake of mine was to sell a rare hammer (with reasonable mods but not max dmg) for 750gold to a guy in the pug I just finished a mission with. He was happy about it though

But as for actual game weirdness. I run dual monitors and occasionally GW will decide it doesn't want to make sure mouse focus stays on the monitor with it running. So i'll be in a battle clicking furiously only to suddenly have the game minimise because i've clicked outside of the game window >.<

Since have decent weapons for my two characters and my monk is the only one I play, I just tend to give away all the weapons I find anymore. If a good PUG was with me, I just ask if anyone needs any weapons I just picked up. If they'll use it, I give it to them. If they only intend on getting it to sell, I just hop over to Ascalon or Ft Ranik and give them away. Takes too long to sell them

This is all GW's fault,

after 8 hours (single sitting) Playing as a R/MO level 12, sold all my stuff and used all my gold to get Magor runes for all my armor, not reading it correctly that each rune lowers health -30. Go into battle with less than 100 heath.

To make matters worse I get so mad I return to town and dump all the armor into the trash can icon never to be seen again. So now heres my R/MO in his skivies with no money no material.

So now I"m just PO'ed. So what do I do? Of course I delete him. Then I go to load another charecter I was building. And you guessed it just as soon as I log on I realize, "Why didn't i just dump this charecters things into storage for my R/MO to use?" then the other realization hit " Shoot I fogot to unload the good bow first"

Great thread everyone.

I've done surprisingly well so far. The worst I've every done myself is salvage a purple unidentified armour before the upgrade. I suppose my Err=7 timings haven't been great. I've only had two in 300+ hours of play. One was after the imps in my first run through the Ring of Fire. Fortunately I had a good group who were very understanding when I whispered my apology, and I think they went on to win. The other was just before Dreadnought's Drift in Snake Dance (bottom to top run, so not the end of the world).

I definitely know what those who have a dislike for the Windows key are talking about. Thankfully I disabled the left one after getting about a quarter of the way through the game with my first character, so it didn't affect me too much.

There was this one time I died in the Elementalis Dome in Dragon's Lair.

The henchmen are so stupid they stay inside the "Magic Ring" if you stay in that ring you get hurt by random spells. Well, one of the healing henchmen dies in there, while i am still dead, the protectionis goes into the ring and tries to revive the healing henchmen, however, the protectionis always gets knockdown everytime she tries to revive, and she stays inside the ring, and heals herself, hours later i am still waiting and waiting, then SHE DIES! The warriors goes revives her, and i am still dead next to the end of the mission :\ 10 mins later she dies again, and the mission ends. Henchmen AI is so ****ed up it pissed me off that day

I joined a PUG in the Temple of the Ages today on my monk.
I asked "Should I take Healing Prayers or Protection Prayers?"
They said, "Take whatever."
I asked the other monk what he had, he answered back with a part of both answer.
So I decided to myself, "Ok, since he is part protection, I'll take healing."
I say to my team "Hold on, let me swtich my skills out." (because I was set as my soloing Zealot's Fire build at the time.
I get about 1/2 the skills for healing on my bar when all of a sudden "The Underworld" splash screen shows up.
I had Orison of Healing, Healing Touch, Healing Breeze, Mending, Balthazar's Spirit, Symbol of Wrath, Zealot's Fire, and Shield of Judgment on me, in a REALLY bad order.
NO RESSURECT SPELL!
I say "Way to go, I was changing out my skills. I have no rez on me."
The team said "Oh, that's ok. You don't need rez."
When everyone but me died, they said "WHY DON'T YOU HAVE REZ?!!"
I proceeded to leave that group.

On the route to Dunes of Despair my entire party died except me. Good thing I have a rez signet. Bad thing I use it on the one guy who didn't have rez. Even worse....I knew he didn't have one!!!

I got a ranger up to level 20, and into droknars forge. Then, as I was reading the 1.5k armor I had just bought, I saw it said it had been customized for my ranger, who's name was spelled wrong. My name was now stupid, and I had to delete it =(. I lost all my money of the armor from Ascalon City, LIon's Arch, and Droknars Forge >.< Can't belive I missed all that. At least I didn't forget to put my bow back *phew* I have still to create my ranger. My necro is cool =)

When I get the last window closed whenever I do that I get to see my defenseless Necro charging rioght into aggro range of the main group of mobs. Neither the mbos nor my group seems to see the humor in this.

true that. I cbf'd shouting for hours in ascalon or lions arch about some stupid thing i've picked up. I actually didn't even think of giving it away as the guy asked to buy it straight away. and i'd already got a much better hammer in my inventory

I recently spent 750g and trivial resources to eagerly upgrade my armor... Bought the whole set, proceeded to switch them and then saw... I bought the exact same armor set... no upgrade, just different bonuses... (I play fire ele but my armor bonuses are +15 for fire, ice, air, earth so that it's well rounded and not just super fire)

so a lesson learned at 750 gold back when 1 plat was a boastable achievement. The monetary equivilent of me now throwing away 3 plat.

That's one helluva expensive ingot!!! Double click=dangerous, use the actual "buy" button I've thrown money away on salvage kits by buying 2 or 3 at the same time, but at least with those you can save them and use em eventually.

Once i had a long run, all my inventory full with random items i wanted to sell to a merchant. I thought i unklicked all inventory space, but the main where that items where. In fact i didn't unclick them all so i ended up selling 2 pieces of my 15k Ele Air Armor (with runes in it ofc ...) and several other items and runes.

Sold a max damage lighting bow with 11%? I think it was 11% it was max, for 7k when I didn't know better. Only to see it on traders for over 200k the next day indicating some fool sold it to him for 7k....I was the fool.

Sold a superior rune of fire something or other to an Elem for 4k. Didn't know better but knew I didn't want to spend the time selling anything. Only to find out it was worth well more than that (over 100k) later in the day.

Oh well Live and learn it's only a game.
