Has your guild ever been the victim of infighting?

Members that squabbled and powerplays between people?
Maybe a contraversial booting of a member or a jerk that snuck into the guild and later caused trouble?

Anyone have stories to share?

We had a guild of people from real life, then the leader went odd and started accusing a couple of us of things in real life, blaming it on miscommunications in the game. Then she started adding the most idiotic people she could to the guild just to annoy us. We had no problem with leaving, much to her annoyance. Finally it excalated outside of the game and she got rid of the whole guild in some kind of attempt to further annoy us...(Yeah, I don't get it either...)

She'd tried to blame it on the game the whole time because she'd been using it to try and gain favour with one of our friends (even buying the game for him), it was amusing to say the least.

I'm glad it weeded her out of the group though ^^

Guild infighting, monks for rent, plus taxi services and other noob ripoffs next week on Jerry Springer!

Maybe not as dramatic as infighting, but we had a beggar join up once. Weird, considering our name is HOBO.

Even though our guild is very good at just giving things to guildmates, this guy begged for ingame cash every single time he logged on. We found out once he was begging for the cash to buy something that a guildmate had and would have given him. Another time, he kept asking for money and we told him that the guild just spent millions of ingame currency to buy resources for one of our top crafters and we were kinda low right now. His response was "well, I only need 20k" We all just started ignoring him after a while.

We don't really have that many power struggles or anything in my guild, but dear lord if one person doesn't do what the leader tells us during a GvG or anything where we're all together, he stomps off and won't log on for a few hours. I find it rather funny, actually. No specific stories though... it happens on a regular occasion.

I have been in ISO well over a year now The guild itself is well over two years old. We all are from Star Wars Galaxies and we made a very happy migration to Guild Wars. Back in SWG there was a few times when members broke guild policy and well became jerks and were promptly removed and city/structure banned in extreme cases. Here we dont have any problems at all. Everyone gets along great and sure isnt afraid to help someone else out with anything and everything just need to ask
