Depends on how the game captivates me. With WoW myself and my wife played about 4-5 hours a night, and about 10 hours on the weekend.

Lucky for me I currently have a LOT of time on my hands. Which can be readily apparant by my posting in here. It is currently my only fix as the closest I can get to the guildwars community since I cannot log in and play. I will have to say that I will be spending horrible gross amounts of time online which will only be amplified by some other great person to group with. I really hate soloing. And I really enjoy the adventure aspect. PvP will always be there for me when I am ready. And I don't think i'll be ready for at least a month or two after the game is realeased. I will be adventuring too much. So if you like to adventure I'll be there

I played Diablo 2 hours a day and as many as I could on the weekends months after it came out. Six months later it was wearing off because I'd already done everything, so I played about an hour on weekdays (when I could find time) and many two, three hours on the weekends. Of course Guild Wars won't have this problems, so I say consistantly 10 hours a day, onto infintity.

i can see meself playen this game a good 6-7 hours a day atleast for the first couple of months then i will play less and less till the next chapter comes out then it starts all over agin

After the initial shock of being able to play whenever I want wears off (I give it a week or so), I'll probably be on 3-4 hours total during the weekdays, and that same amount over the weekend. 6-8 total per week...ish.

Give an hour for food, bathroom, social with parents, etc.\
Went to bed at 2am the next day.
So that's about.......18 hours that day, another 4 or 5 saturday and about 7 more on sunday. But that was beta (crunch time). On Release I expect 3-4 hours a day, I'll have finished finals by then.

During the betas I hardly sleep.
A week after release I will still be insomniatically playing through the game.
After 2 weeks? I'll still be playing. But I would be fanatically sitting in front of my computer without looking at the sun. Maybe 5 hours a day if I can somehow figure out a way to study for finals and play computer games at the same time. Maybe make it type in chemical formulas while i'm killing stuff?

How much will I play? Probably the same amount of time I do now, which is a couple of hours a day.
I tend to divide my time between browsing forums, game, and idling in IRC.. but half the time, I'm doing all three at once.
As for sleep, I start slurring when I don't get sleep! It gets pretty awful.

Being semi retired I have time to enjoy being engulfed into the game and plan on playing 8-12 hours a day. Until the shock wears off or computer fried due to excessive gaming or whenever life starts knocking at the door I will still try to put in as many hours as possible.

I'll have to say that I've over done it in almost every BWE and have had a bad habit in the past of playing games like EQ way too much which really effected RL. My plan after full release is to try and keep it to about 2 hours a day on weekdays and 4 - 8 hours total on weekends.
I do believe if I take my time to savor it I'll enjoy the game a lot more than if I let myself get too obsessed and in a rush to take it all in like I have done with games in the past.

The frist while I'll be playing as much as possible. After 2 weeks I'll still be playing lots since I plan to have 3 chars go through the storyline (covering all 6 professions) and I want to collect all the skills. Mixed in in large doses will be PvP whenever I feel like it. For the first month I'll play whenever I have free time, after that it might slow down, but I don't really know yet how addicting GW is.

I have no need to savour the flavor. Hehe. Lots of stuff for me to do and it will take longer than 2 weeks. And probably longer than 6 months to do. Going to have to unlock everything I possibly can for my PvP characters, test out a myriad of builds, do all the quests, and explore every inch of the map. And all of that with hundreds of hours of PvP mixed in. I think I've got enough on my plate to keep me occupied for quite a while. And if I find a game I really like I turn into one of those people who rarely sees the light of day. Hehe. I transform from a normal person to... the shadow!!

Being I have never been a regimented to the rules sleeper since birth (2-4 hours a night if i sleep at all) and have little else if anything necessary to do but read and occassionally update a report....At least 10 and likely 20 hours a day till the next expansion, maybe miss a day or two here or there up to a week total in between.
