Pre-made rangers.

This might have been raised, but it seems so obvious that if it was raised it would be changed.

I just decided, on an impulse, to play around with beast mastery. With a pre-made ranger. So, i put my points in, collect my ramshakle bm skills, and then, just after i press 'enter arena' i realise i dont have a pet.
I loose. horribly, since the only thing i could do was cast whirling defense and greater conflagration.
I then leave the arena, and look around on how to get a pet. Just to try it out. I cant.....

How about it eh? Pre made pets, at level 20 and just say one of each. pre mades are for people to try new things, and here is a line that is predominantly untryable :S. (if you can get a pet and i missed this can someone tell me)....

You have to unlock "Charm Animal" 1st on the PvE side. You can't run skills you haven't unlocked from PvE when you create a PvP only charactor.

No, what he means is that if you build a lvl 20 character using skills you have, including Charm Animal, you enter the combat with no animal. It does not make the assumption that you have already had the chance to charm one, and there are no animals in the staging areas to charm. There is no way for a PvP only character to get an animal at present, thus, even if you have unlocked every ranger skill and have an ascended ranger with a lvl 20 animal, your PvP-only charcter will not have one.

Well, that sucks. Necros can use their minions because they use a corpse to raise them up, but a ranger can't bring a pet into PvP unless he is a RP ranger, huh?

Whats the problem here? Can't you just put charm animal on your skill bar, that way you get a pet when you enter, I think its just a snow wolf.

I think it would be cool if you could cycle through any pet you have charmed in pve
