I have a few things I think need to be looked at by Anet.
Exactly what is the range on a touch attack? How is it that a creature can do "blah blah TOUCH" on my character from a block away? This happens all the time.
I know traps are easily interruptible, but how is it that when I have blinded an enemy AND have whirling defense up, they ALWAYS hit me if I am trying to lay a trap? That's a 90% miss chance from being blind ON TOP of a 75% block chance from WD. If I were not trying to lay a trap, I could stand there and /dance and not get hit. Speaking of which, I highly doubt that WD actually does 75% - seems a LOT closer to 50% IMO.
Who is the programmer there with the hard-on for Grim and Deadly Cestas? I swear throughout the entire game Cestas drop nearly as much as gold does.
Does anyone use Major runes? I think they are such a waste... I could see them being more useful if maybe they took away 30 health, but 50? Why would anyone use them, when you could lose NO health and get a +1, or lose 25 more health and get a +3? Perhaps I am on my own here, but every build I imagine requires 1 Superior rune and the rest Minors.

In my experiance touch attacks have the same range as a sword or axe
I wish I could stack cestas as a I would love to show off a collection of 1,000
Well as for the unlucky interupting, I think that you might just be plain unlucky or perhaps someone removed their blind?
And as a matter of fact I use major runes because superior ones are too damn expensive. So would you rather pay 5k for a +2 or waste about 20k more for just +1 more?

I'm uncertain about superior runes, but I'm quite certain major runes are trash. They aren't worth the 25gp the rune trader gives me for them.

I agree about the Cesta's they drop toooooooooooo often.
And it would be nice if they cut health on both superior and major, I mean with a title like superior, the -75 health makes it like some kind of leecher. I think major -25 and superior -50 (or the devs could be absoloutely generous and make it -25 as well) would be decent.

As for cestas, drops are primarily based on the race and class of the mob you defeat. If you go after, for instance, Jade Scarabs you can expect racial drops (jade mandibles, shells, monsterous claws) and you can expect necro drops (accursed/bone staffs, deadly/grim cestas, truncheons). You can then expect generic drops (gold coins, dye). If you're getting too many cestas you need to fight fewer necros. :P

Hmm, maybe its not me killing lots necro mobs but there is just too many necro mobs there. Actually I think the necro mobs have a high tendency to drop those cesta's when you kill them...maybe thats just it.
I don't think that major runes are bad (I use them myself) I just think that the health penalty is a big jump and a bit too much, it would make sense to go up in steps of 25, so a minor with no health penatly, major with -25 and superior with -50. That really would feel more ideal to me and still keep the balance. I mean in this game health is really important, people will pay massive bucks for +30health weapon upgrade, health does not come by easy if you want to be strong (the runes are the only way).
I mean if a superior vigor can't negate the effect of the health penalty on other superior runes well, it seems pretty harsh balancing.

Many successful players are content to use nothing but minor runes. If you're going to invest in superior runes you should have to cope with the health loss...otherwise people would use two majors and one superior health and be perfectly fine. That should never happen. No one should be able to create superpowered characters without suffering some glaring weakness.
