I think that Anet should make it so that each char can be in their own different guild.. Anyone agree? |

we did split the cost. we don't share characters. in other words i don't use his characters he doesn't use mine

Sharing accounts and sharing characters equate to the same thing. Split the cost again, so you dont have to sit in some 'gay guild that sits around all day' hehe.

I don't share my account but I have characters that I play with different people. It would be great to have them in different guilds. This is not a bad idea.

I agree each character should be able to join their own guild. There is no form of sabotage a person can do while in two guilds with two different characters that they can't do with one character and joining and leaving guilds.
I have backrounds set up for my characters and my necro and my warrior are in no way associated with eachother; for them to both be in the same guild would ruin the experience for me.

Yeah, but you have to think. Some guilds are against double guilding. If this would be implemented it would go against their rules. Also they would have to increase the guild cap to 4 times what it is now, if they are in one of those guilds(such as I am in). Why 4 times, just for those people that are slow on the uptake, an account can hold 4 characters, and if all 4 of those would be on the same guild they wouldn't go under the same name as they are now. So they would have to make the cap 4 times as big as it is currently.

I guess people don't want spies sitting on guildchat and learning about their builds? Although if anyone was dedicated enough to do that, they'd probably spring for two accounts anyway.
I remember it was a bit of a problem in Shadowbane, although it was always HILARIOUS to keelhaul the traitors in the middle of town square when you discovered them. Great opportunity for guild bonding.
