Just completed the mission with henchmen got

Tall shild 9 armor (level 1 tatics required)
a 5-7 bow
two charr hides
best charr armor was 17 one was fiften the rest was 13 and under.

A couple of charr carvings?

What is with this? Pathetic. Oh a little bit of gold here and there that is shared with the group.

I want to toggle that percentage with the group I should get half cause I'm the boss.

I was very disappointed in this loot I mean there wasn't any. What is with this? Sorry sorry sorry.

I have probably over 400 hours in this game and I've found one hilt. ONE what is with that? What are you trying to do here?

What are you so obsessed with hilts? You cant search for 1 item and expect to get it EVER. You can expect to be able to buy one from someone else. Listen, after 400 hours you're still at the 2nd mission of the game. This is pathetic. After 40 hours and playing very lackadaisically, I reached level 20 and ascended. You need to try to progress through the game. You're probably about 1/50th of the way through it. You can expect better items and more gold later in the game. If I want to now, I can make 1-2 platinum in under 10 minutes.

I could not decide if this thread was a joke or not... but curiosity has gotten the best of me. Have you really played for 400 hours and are still doing "Fort Ranik"? Cause that would be your problem right there, thats the second mission in a massive campaign, of course the loot is going to suck.

After 400 hours of play you should have no problem coming up with a viable solo build that can go kill things and keep 100% of the loot. Unlike with henchmen who all take their share. But you have played for 400 hours... so you already know that... right?

After 400 hours it would be simple to have 4 level 20 characters with every elite skill in the game that each has completely beaten the game.

Maybe he has owned the game for 400 hours, but he only started yesterday and hes pissed that identification kits are costing him a buttload.

This was another character you know you can have more than one and I've done several. Read and think you do know how to think on your own don't you?

No one has addressed the topic. How much have you played the game and how many hilts have you come across? I don't like going out and buying stuff from people because far too often they can be jerks just like some of the ones above.

You do find nice people in this game then again you find people like above.

Seems like all I ever find are swords and hammers and their stupid crappy upgrades I can't use.

I'm holding onto a poisoner's hilt at the moment, in fact... thinking I might just change my secondary into a warrior later on just so I can put some of these drops to work!

Fire most items I unlocked like Hilts, bow strings etc was from rare items, even if its blue and is crappy always pick it up and identify it, up to you what you do with after that. I have Soo many things unlocked like hilts, bow strings etc just by doing that. Other then that like pl above said buying it, I hardly buy things like that from ppl unless you are eagerly trying to update a peculiar weapon you wield.
But the whole concept of not buying is to unlock those type of things for pvp isnt it?

Well let's see... I've been playing maybe a total of 50 hours. I have several characters, I'm in kryta (about 12 missions away from Fort Ranik) I've found several hilts, raked up about 5 platinum pieces or more, have salvaged several runes. Instead of replaying the same mission over and over, you ought to progress into the story a little bit. Though everyone else has already said this, I just wanted to show you what you COULD have gotten while playing. If I got that in about 50 hours, imagine what you could have had in 400? Just use your time a little more wisely, and don't be afraid to do missions that seem hard. If you find yourself too weak, consider doing skill quests and switching up your hotkey bar. Hope this helped.

200 hours total, probally 15 or so hilts, mabye more.

I can tell your a noob because:

a) You want more gold because you are the "boss" (started the party)

b) Your complaining about low level loot in a low level mission.

Now if you were complaining about the lack of loot in fire island missions, where you should reasonably expect some good loot (hypothetical as I think the loot there is fine) that would be one thing. Your bringing up the loot tables for Fort Ranik is just silly, because if you were as experienced as you say you are, you would have realized this long ago. Hence no need for a post about it.

Now that I think about it, I've only ever found one sword hilt, and 2 pommels, but I get bows and staves all day, its all I get, ever! even in ring of fire =/

My theroy is that they've cursed my account to get only bows, because they hate me.

I think they are going to be adressing ways to get access to upgrade parts, like they've done runes, in the near future...

LOL! I think I just found the most stupid post on a Guildwars related topic EVER! Hanging around in Fort Ranik.... doing the mission with HENCHMEN (ROFL, Henchmen ALWAYS take away your loot) and expecting to get uber loot... Either you are just a naiv little kiddie (probably around the age of 13 or so) or you are just plain stupid! I'm sorry I have to break the news to you like that, but MOVE ON! Then you might get what you are seeking for! And try to control your rage! Btw. I had several hilts up to now and I'm not even through the whole game yet... sold those hilts for 50-100gp, lol. Weapon upgrades aren't worth anything imo.

Well... if I'd find a perfect one at first I'd keep it, but I'd NEVER sell it for 20k... 20k is a rip off and everybody selling/buying an upgrade for that much should start to think about what they are doing to the economy. I guess you don't seem to get the point... I sell items for very low prices to people who need them. I hate people spamming trade channels wanting to have 10k for an icy axe haft or sumtin like that, seriously it's ridiculous and makes me laugh my ass off. If I find 2 perfect vampiric upgrades, I'd be glad to sell you one for 1k... no problem there man! I always sell the normal upgrades for 50-150 gp, good ones for 250-500 gp and perfect for 1k... everything else is a huge rip off!

EDIT: As a matter of fact, NOTHING in this game is actually worth 20k except for sigils and superior vigors (although they are WAY too expensive too). Ok, I might pay up to 20k for a nice storm bow, but that's it! Don't get me wrong, I always have plenty of money (I always carry around 25k on me, and that is enough for me!), and I don't see the need in trying to sell weapons, upgrades, etc. for those ridiculous amounts of money!! I've played this game since the beta and prices were humane in those times. As soon as the game came into the stores, loads of idiots startet buying it and inflate the hell out of it... THANK YOU

Well I guess to you they are worthless, but to the community they aren't... I will admit I think it is a bit rediculous that a bow that is one point off max damage would sell for WAY less than one with max damage and the same mods. I have seen many mods sell for several plat, that's all I was saying... Nothing against you personally... In fact, if u find a vamp bow string, hook me up lol...
