New Update

New update came out, now if you've won the hall of hero's your guaranteed to lose in a 8vs16 next round. A lot of new things promoting grind, like the scrolls and XP increase for bosses, Long story short, more and more people are going to quit. Everyone has been complaining about how the HoH is and you made it worse AN, nearly every competitive PvP player hardly play guildwars now. This is just going to make the spiral of the current state of guildwars go down and down. This is not a CORPG like you say it is, and it's definitely not an MMORPG as even you have said arena net.

Yeah cause we all know INCREASING the exp you gain and DECREASING the required exp for a skill point after 20 is PROMOTONG GRIND. Please. Shat tha **** UP. Regardless, all the "competetive PvPers" can let the door kick them in the ass for all I care. They are the vast minority and their arrogance is far from a boon to the community.

Speaking for my guild, Karma, I know i'm speaking for a lot of others as well who have already quit and are upset with the game, Mainly talking about alpha and beta people who took pvp seriously prior to release.

I don't know about promoting grind, but these are band-aid changes at best. Last weeks were better in that you could get all the elites you needed very quickly, but this really does not make gaining skill points much easier, just slightly less of a boring chore.

They're not fixing the grind, at all, just encouraging us to do something we don't want to do even more, or have already done, like beating the game three times, now they're encouraging us to do it again, which we're all very very very sick of. Dac can joke about it and point at me all he wants but I'm sure BE has even suffered its loss of members due to the grind.

The stupid scroll trader doesnt even have scrolls and everybody that is ascended just got cheated out of 50k xp.......

it makes getting skill points MUCH easier, because after 5 or so skill points after lvl 20 it takes a LOT of xp to get a skill point. how are they encouraging you to beat the game 3 times? its easier to switch professions so that you can unlock your skills with the skill points you get from each 50k xp.

Since you've beat the game 3 times I guess that means you've unlocked all your skills between the quests and the extra bonus points from the missions. So what are you complaining about? Oh yeah that extra 10 hp from that superior vigor and oh maybe the fact you might have done maybe only 0 missions and quests running your level 3 to ascension. Cry me a river and go back to Counter Strike.

just wait for a bit, the patch is brand new. kinda how everyone was complaining about the rune trader buying everything at 25gp, its only cuz its just starting out.

yah you know everything about GW, I wrote PvP guides for monks 3 months before retail. Ive been playing since November and have led teams to top competition from scratch in 2-3 days. You must understand this game a lot better man. Like having every skill memorized, every strategy memorized 5-8 skill bottons mapped to easy locations, held the HoH straight for an ungodly ammount of time against pure doubleteams without a lame strategy at peak times.

Your knowledge and skill of GW far surpasses mine.

Hahahahaha, As a word to any alpha guild, or anyone in the PvP, look at how we're treated by people who just purchased guildwars, this is a ----ing joke, honestly. You all enjoy guildwars because we are quitting and will be gone soon enough. To any alpha or beta member in to PvP who still tries to unlock things to be in a top tier guild, I think it's very nobile of you but you're only going to be GvGing against about ten other guilds that felt like unlocking things. No one even visits the ladder or cares about it anymore. I remember in the betas when fianna beat kor and stuff like that it was news that everyone cared about, the competitiveness of the game was great and inspired many to be the best, now this new generation will never even see any of it or even be inspired to pvp seriously like we all did.
