If everone remembers Quake FPS was the first game that used this wonderful idea. I would like to see GW use it. Come on we will be playing for HOURS at a time, SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?

NOTE: The music is great, but be honest to yourself you listen to your cd's...

I remember the games where you could CHANGE the in-game music. That was the best, when you entered a "dungeon" My Achy Breaky Heart started playing... yeh I was playing with my friends computer and it was funny. But as it is, you could just turn the volume off, and start up a low resource player.

P.S. Should be simple since the game easily minimizes or goes into window mode

That's what I use Winamp for. Although I haven't played Guild Wars yet I would assume I could do the same when I do.

I really don't pay as much attention to the music as everything else. you can always play your own music?

Couldn't you just turn your stereo on?

Some people don't have the music on CD though.

Alright, now your freaking me out, the only reason I didn't acredit Winamp is because although it uses less resources than media player, there are other utilities that use even less. But I'm a long fan of Winamp from its early days, now that they added video option, oh I'm there.

Lansing Kai Don

P.S. The video isn't as good as other players, so I don't recommend it. It takes longer to load and the codecs sometimes are buggy to say the least. But hey it's a work in progress on something free.

If anyone knows of some programs like winamp, post them...then we dont have to get NCSOFT to create an in-game CD player...you can transfer the songs from your cd to winamp by the way

Because of this reason, I don't see the need for a cd player.

Last mmo I played was RYL, I know this isnt an mmo but it is put in the same category...it didnt have an option to turn all sound off, does GW have this option?

I wouldn't mind it. I think it would be pretty cool walking through Ascelon(sp?) while listening to hardtrance \o/0_0\0/, woot.
