What are you playing? PvP or PvE? If PvP you can choose Minion Master and it will automatically give you some Necro/Mesmer skills...

Why do people ask this stuff? If you know what you are doing it is good, just like any other build would be. Form your own opinion about it instead of bowing to the mercy of everyone else's beliefs.

keep in mind that you can change your 2nd proffession later in the game so you want to make sure that the primary proffession you pick is the most important becasue to change that you need to start from square one.

N/Me is really fun actually. I just started one (I'm up to about Nolani). Im using death magic (deathly swarm, putrid explosion (so good), animate bone minions, soul feast, vile touch. and then im using a bit of domination magic; backfire (must have), and chaos storm. I can also incorporate energy burn. However for now I'm just mastering death magic and its working very well. The only downside is that to heal if you dont have a monk, you must kill a monster. Not so great if you're attacking a boss or a couple hard guys. You could also use ether feast though if you wanted to.

The build you listed is kinda all over the place. It is best to keep to 1 or 2 skill trees (usually 1 early game with your spare points at each level put into a secondary, i put mine into soul reaping for obvious reasons.)

Not early game though. Earlier in the game you'd want to focus on maxing one, and then change to another while dishing your side points into a 3rd.

I finished the main story line with one - after Riverside I find that I'm changing skills between allmost every mission or area depending on the group and the enemys.
I usually top up Dom and either Curse or Blood with som sprinkles in other attribs or SR.

Having 16p Curses in a group with many warriors is NICE

By having a really high one skill tree, you're going to be able to do more damage. As you progres through the game the monsters are going to be affected by likewise adjusted skill points. For example, if you have 4 skill points in 3 different types of skills you're going to have a bunch of skills that do say 15-20 damage which will be nullified by the armor. However if you say have 4 death magic skills and you have a level 8 death magic, each one of your death magic skills is going to do MUCH more damage than if you had 4 points into it. By putting all your skill points into one skill tree, you're going to, in the early game at least, want to take every skill that is affected by that tree into battle. For instance I have death magic and I'm using animate bone horror, deathly swarm, vile touch, soul feast, putrid explosion. 2 straight damage, 1 healing, 1 conditional damage (putrid), and 1 summon. all at level 10 or 9 I think (I'm level 7 right now but I have headgear and a minor rune for now boosting it.) My other 3 skills consist of backfire (good at any level), chaos storm (decent aoe but i rarely use it) and res sig (no level effect).

I hope this helps a little bit.
