hiya I just thought I would share a link for a program that gives you all sorts of info about your comp and then some, far much more usefull then just dxdiag, anyway its free and easy to use and understand.

so if this was already posted someplace before then go ahead and shoot me...Im a good dodger

your very welcome and like I said its a very good program and you dont need alot of other programs just to find what your looking for, it also has the links you need to take you to the site to get new driver updates.

Very good site, yeh. Especially check out the 'service configuration' guide for Win XP/Pro. Great for setting up your computer the way you want it, whilst giving you insight into what's actually going on in the background! Although don't get carried away with disabling things your not sure about, otherwise it will probably be more trouble than its worth. I for one hadn't even heard of the 'Indexing service' and what it does, or the ramifications of 'windows time' to name but a few. Learn some thing new every day .
