I can't make myself play GW's with real people anymore... help me!

So as the title says, I've basically stopped playing with real people and only ever use Henchmen. I don't even have the will to do UW anymore due to the last 7, or is it now 8, parties I've been in, some idiot has taken every quest from the Reaper and killed our entire party right then and there. Yes, they were told multiple times NOT to take any quests.

Now I'm going through the missions a second time as a Monk, and I'd like to practice my healing skills with REAL people. But, as I said before, I just can't subject myself to real people anymore. Why spend twice as much time on a mission just to fail because some fool refuses to listen? Henchmen always listen and never fail me. Someone help me get over this.

What about when they get stuck in a wall?

Join a guild that has a good group of people, your outlook on playing with others will change dramatically. (mine did anyway)

That has not happened to me once since they supposedly fixed it. And i have completed every single mission in the game with just henchmen.

Well, i have considered it, but i also have my own Guild i started with a friend when the game came out. I've been considering trying to recruit people now that i feel i am knowledgable enough about the game to lead a guild. But alas, anyone of any worth is in a guild and heading to Pre-Searing to pick up new players in the hopes they will end up to be cool people does not sound so great.

I know how ya feel, i've limited myself to only grouping with people for HoH when I get bored, my 2 friends in our own guild for fun, and once in a while meeting some people I met a while back when I want to go to FoW or UW
(these would be people who I grouped with upon release and proved themselves to be mentally capable as well as gaming capable and I have kept in contact with them since release, and a few from beta as far back as october.)

This is sadly true Hard to get a *good* group. Even for HoH. My suggestion is to get a decent guild that knows how to play. If they don't, leave them, before you burst a vein.

I refer you to this thread , in which people who share your frustration are getting together. I've partied with a couple people in the thread, and they are definitely a cut above your average PUG.

Nice thread, i went and posted my characters in there .

One question though, for anyone, how would i go about disbanding my Guild if i decided to seek out an already established one? I saw no option for me to do this.

You are a wise player then ~ the initial highly skilled populace has vanished and that which remains is ..."Unskilled" to put it mildly.
I may be taking you out of context, but anytime anyone "tells" me not to do something, I ask why. Perhaps taking a moment and volunteering to inform them of the hazard is in order?
Likewise, if I've never seen a cutscene before and the leader screams SKIP THE MOVIE! I ignore him/her/it. I'm interested in the story ~ not blazing through the game ASAP.
