Well, I was looking at skills the other day and noticed something interesting. Spirit of failure. Hexes someone for 30s, giving them a 25% chance to miss and 1-4 energy when they fail to hit. The fail to hit part is what caught my eye. So I got to thinking on how I would make someone fail to hit far more often, and came up with a few ideas. For one, there's blindness of course. There's also distortion (I actually found a use for it... yay), and also price of failure. So I started messing around with some skills, and came up with this skillset:
Faintheartedness, Parasitic Bond, Price of Failure, Drain Enchantment, Ineptitude (E), Conjure Phantasm, Distortion, Spirit of Failure
11 curses (boosted to 12 with scar pattern)
12 illusion
6 inspiration (makes SoF give me 3 energy/miss)
3 soul reaping (just leftover points)
I've tried it out a few times, and it seems to work really really well. Even when ineptitude is on cooldown, I actually gain energy from keeping distortion up with someone attacking me. Throw a few spirits of failure around and you end up with an almost infinite supply of energy, and can put a large portion of their team in -9 health degeneration indefinitely. Drain enchantment works well against W/Mo, since they usually rely on healing breeze for healing.
What do you all think?
