I just wanted to share a note with you, because we don't want anyone to worry. We didn't forget to pay our electricity bill, and nobody fell asleep at his desk before pressing the "On" button.

We're working on one more critical element, and should be up shortly. Don't worry, I'll be here until you're all safely in the game. (Yes, I know, that doesn't matter, but I'm trying to be friendly.

)

Some things we'd like to hear about from you: Comments about the new region (Yes, WHEN you get to see it

) and some significant changes to the interface, too. Remember to hit the Suggestions Thread when you have a chance, even take notes and post after this busy weekend.

Technically the last BWE ...they weren't late....just didn't specify a time and therefor had everyone thinking it was midnight PST as usual....when they had much more to do that took longer

That posting in various GW forums about the fact that the game will be opened very soon,
is because it will take at least a while longer.

I mean if it were to only take 15/20 more minutes, I wouldn't find it nessary to get somone to post in various forums that the game is comming shortly..."

I assume everyone else is having a bit of trouble with lag right now? I don't remember anythgin like this the last time I played so I'm just going to give it a break for an hour or so and hope it clears up a bit.

What I'd like to know is why I'm no longer Guild Leader? Was there an in-game insurrection I didn't know about? They deposed me?

Ah- anyway, thanks for the heads-up, Gaile, even though by the time I woke up and actually got around to reading it, the game was already up. Ascalon-Ho!

Weird. I seemed to have fixed my "lag" by setting my refreshrate to 75 and not default. must have been a graphics thing.

Hmm, it keeps comming back, then when I reset my refresh rate, goign away.

Mutiny. Actually the first person to log on seems to automatically be given Guild Leadership. At least I was the first to log on, and it gave it to me...

My first order of business as leader was demoting everyone to regular members...ahhh power. Gotta love it.

Yep, this beta revealed a small glitch with our guild system. It's a good thing, too! We've fixed that bug, and things should be fine in the future, as long as the guild leader isn't absent for extended periods of time.

If your guild is having trouble, please try to settle it amicably amongst members. The member who found himself apppointed leader simply needs to use the drop-down menu to appoint the real leader to that position, then the leader can sort out the membership into the proper ranks.

Next month, guilds without musical chairs.
