Sundering Horn Bow?

I have a Sundering Horn Bow of Pruning. It does 10% armor penatration (7% chance). Now horn bows in general are supposed to do 10% armor penatration so is the Sundering part stacking?

The guide says they have a base armor piercing level of 10%, pg 177. No idea if it's right or not, just what it says. If it's infact there, then it should stack with the sundering when that goes off. It should also stack with judges insight which gives an additional 20%. Throw in weaken armor from a necro and your target may as well be naked if everything works perfectly

The guide? As in the one that originated around beta? Because that one's dated, and areanet have changed several things that the guide states.

I've heard that horn bows have a passive +10% armor penetration too. But is this just a rumor? It would make sense - horn bows better have some innate advantage, cause thier other stats SUCK.

Well bow do penetration damage, so i think it's possible that they do a natural +x% piercing. But i never played a ranger so never tested, only logic ^^
