What is Err=50?

Tried to connect early this morning and it says "Guild Wars cannot complete this operation. Please try again in a few minutes (err=50)"

No idea. But were you able to connect again after a few minutes?

Could have been an issue with connecting to the GW servers but that is just a guess.

What exactly happens when you try and connect?

Do you get any messages trying to connect to Guild Wars, does the game just fall over before even attempting to connect, or do you get to the point where you can enter your password and then it fails?

I am able to enter my password and cycle my characters, but when I try to select them and click ok, I get hit with an error message.

Are you sure you weren't getting err=5 , not 50?
