I have a an Air elementatlist that i enjoy playing in pvp one skill id like to point you twords is Chain lightning another 100 dmg or so and it can hit 3 targets. yes it carries the burden of exhastion but with its 20 second recharge your going to have troubles with energy long before exhastion even becomes a factor hence its not a factor.
Aura of restoration really isn't going to help much in PvP and channeling is meh for elementalists because your not going to be surounded by enemies and survive to use the energy .

Yeah especially with that energy storage and energy drain, you won't need channeling...or any other skills to obtain energy. I think that would be enough...

I agree with the above regarding PvP. For an all-around character, I would recommend this build:
Energy Storage - 10
Air Magic - 12
Inspiration Magic - 8
Energy Tap
Aura of Restoration
Air Attunement

Ether Feast
Chain Lightning
and
Lightning Orb
or
Blinding Flash
This build is lightning with a lot of energy reserves. If someone has tried something like this, let me know how it worked out.

hmm I was thinking of using energy tap but I dunno, it didnt seem sufficient enough an energy source.

hmm.. could give power drain a thought too then.....being that it's for PvP.
Power Drain if target foe is casting a spell, that spell is interrupted and you gain 1-25 energy.
Could feasibly throw this out at opposing casters/monks as a way to help you.
Would give you more net gain than energy tap. And though I don't use build calcs to assess numbers personally I would estimate you'd be picking up around 21 energy off a use of it.( with 10 in inspiration)
