Okay, if this is an RP guild I feel silly but if it isn't, please don't flame a poor RP interested soul angry d2-mob! Anyways, what of RP events will take place in Guild Wars? Will there be any or?

None that I know of, but you can find RP guilds. The only one I can currently remember is the Pirate Scum Guild, be sure to check out guild directories to find more RP guilds.

Ah, cheers friend, I tried it but they just like pirates, they're not RPing :P

Eh, anyone else know of any possibilities?

Your best bet is to find a guild that supports RP'ing, then finding someone to RP with in that guild. My guild does, but we're quite not up and running yet (we're not even sure of the name). Ren Falconhand started the Harpers, and on their site they support RP'ing. It'd be hard to find a guild devoted just to one thing when there rarely are people who do.

No. RPing is when you give your character a personality, and you act it out. Sure they can be pirates, but when role-playing you don't talk in game about what you did last night in real life. For instance like: "I went to MacDonalds and then watched the game with Brian and Jake. Sweet. The score was 4-32" etc. The thing about RP is that the you play a character who lives in a world with what's there. Your character can get angry when another person dies, or express joy when something good happens to him. He can react differently, but that was an example. He can be a psycothic person or be a s saint, neutral, smart, dumb, bossy, mean, nice etc. Oh, and the character you role-play doesn't know he/she's in a computer game so don't walk around saying: "Oh, but I must take my leave, I will log off and see you tomorrow". Instead, when you have to log, try saying: "Oh, but I must take my leave. I'm tired, and going to find me a nice inn. See you around". If you must tell someone that something came up in real life, write "OOC: Okay, people. I'm late for work. Gotta go!" or in Tells. There's a couple of misc rules from here which bases itself on common sense rules, but oh well. That concludes RP lesson for today.

(Yes, I did feel a bit like a dork when I explained that :P But it's actually darn cool)

Anyways, Kai? You mind handing me a link to the Harper's site?
