Question about drops

How does the whole item drop thing work for parties. Like how does the game decide who gets what item?

Also are there certain creatures that have a higher percentage of dropping golden armors/weapons/etc?

drops are done on a dice system. An enemy NPC is killed and a die is rolled. Total side to the die is equal to total party members. so you have 1/# chance of getting the drop, where '#' = 'Total Party Members'

And little thom always gets the gold drops, no matter what the dice says.

hmm never heard of the dice thing for auto assigning of drop items in GW. The game assigns the items randomly. (or so I was told)

That system is random....or atleast as random as you're going to get. Computers can't be 'truly' random

lol its funny you say that... nothing is random in gaming. its all done by a system and the dice is a good example of how that works. as the dice is rolled and your # is side up its your loot. so the random you speak of is the dice's side up that is random

most gaming system use this randomized system as #'s
