I know normal runes don't stack, i know vigors don't stack but what about absorptions?

Im a warrior so say i have Two pieces of Knights Armour (which already have reduce damage) and two pieces of gladitors armour. If i put a major absorption on my gladitor pieces will they stack ?

ty in advance

No, none of the runes are stackable.

that wasnt his question

hes asking if the damage absorption of Knights Armor will stack with a rune

from what Ive read,
yes -- you will get the absorption benefits of both Knights and the rune
(doesnt matter where you place the rune)

Knights, Ascalon, and Absorbtion runes don't stack with each other or themselves

Unless something changed in the last two weeks I think this is the answer to the question about Knights and Absorption Rune interaction.

One piece of Knight's Armor gives a universal -2 damage modifier. Multiple pieces of Knight's Armor do not stack.

Absorption runes now stack properly with the bonus from Knight's Armor.

Superior Absorption plus Knight's Boots stacks for a total of -5 damage per hit.
More specifics about the data:

Plain, repeatable tests. Make a Paladin premade, equip per iteration. Enter tombs with a henchie team, train your henchies on one Rift Warden or a Ghoul or something, go solo another Warden so that he attacks you in melee.

Do not cast any enchantments or use any skills. Attack to normalize facing.

Equipment: Recieved melee damage

Full Knight's Armor, Major Absorption Rune: 2-3 damage per hit
Full Knight's Armor, No Absorption Rune: 4-5 damage per hit

Full Dragon's Armor, Major Absorption Rune: 3-4 damage per hit
Full Dragon's Armor, No Absorption Rune: 5-6 damage per hit

4 pieces Dragon's Armor, Knight's Boots, No Rune: 3-4 damage per hit, rare 5 damage hits

Do the math.

But if you have multiple absorption runes, you should stick them in chest and leggings since one rune doesn't cover your whole body.

What... It doesn't matter where a rune is, thats like saying you have 500 hp in your boots, but only 480 in chest? No shhh, Rune can go anywhere and give universale effects.

Runes don't stack, end of, You can however have a absorbtion on knights/ascalon and it will give the extra absorbtion bonus.
