Ok so i got the skill tonite from Markis but it deosnt seem to be working...either that or i dont know what to do to use it...
I hit it and then go to apply poison and i still have to prepare and i only hit one arrow at a time...what am i doing wrong?

Because all preparations are removed, you can't use "Apply Poison", "Ignite Arrows", etc with Barrage. It's good to read the entire skill description

Also, the enemies have to be really close together, in order to get the desired spraying effect, which doesn't make much sense, as it would be more logical to fire 5 arrows and depending on the enemies, they will hit either 1 or up to 5 targets.
...but speaking of logic in a game with a friendly warthog named Oink! doesn't make sense, I guess

combine barrage with a vampiric bow....elite skills need to be used correctly.

yeah oink rocks. and about barrage it really is very usefull since i found it to deal more damge than power shot, plus its low energy cost whic can be lowered to 2 by at least 10 expertise. and it recharges fast too. one way i found out how to do bonus damge with barrage is to use an elemnt sub type skill like, conjure flame, conjure lighting, all yo would need is the bow string. and barrage rocks in underworld agianst the smites i found myself doing 60 damge to each smite and 20 more damgw tih conjure flame

conjure element + barrage is a nice combo

Yeah its a strong combow whic i rocked the undead wiht at kryta gate wiht oinky behind house"wink""wink"coughs" "runes. also its very valuable in the later fire mission you could use winter, then conjure flame, and let barrage fly on those fire peskers you would deal some nice damge.
