should i use this rune?

elemental earth major rune, i use a major fire and major vigor so i lost 10hp, now down to 471 if i use the major earth I will be down to 421 but have a 12 in earth as i have 15 in fire and rest in energy. I use earth for defense (armor of earth) so would that extra point in attributes be worth the loss in hp since it will be used for armor of earth?

Is the 400 range ok for pvp? I dope to get a +25 health weapon at sometime to help out too.

If you only use 1 earth spell then it probably isn't worth it.
