*Spoiler* In divinities coast...why doesn't the eye thing...
Caco-Cola
Pick us out? We're all chosen right?
I mean on the last mission before the desert it goes 'yo, you're chosen' and your guys like 'OMG!'
Which is fine, it made for a nice twist, but a horribly unexplained one.
Wouldn't the eye thing that picks out the Chosen in Divinity's Coast thing respond to our chosen...ness?

No, everyone believes you aren't knocked down by the eye because you took a dip in that fountain.
Also, I'm not sure that eye actually does what Hablion says it does. I think all it really does is identify ideal candidates for sacrifice on a bloodstone.

Because you were carrying it...?
Or maybe because you had to be purified before you could carry it...
I have no clue.
Nice connection there. I never noticed that.

If we wanna go into this,
If the mantle are evil and they told us the shining blade are evil that makes the blade good, but the blade said that lich guy was good but he was evil so does that make the blade evil too? Why are the forgotten our friends sometimes and our mortal enemys others? If we killed glint how will she ever talk to us again if she's the key to the story ending!!!!
*gasps for breath*
Soo many un-answerd questions... *goes to cry in corner*

Well teh glint thing is the bonus.
Bonus's aren't really part of the story line.
But the divinity coast thing is something EVERYONE has to do.
And even if the foutnain does throw off the effect you still see it, it would still respond to you even if you weren't carrying it.
It responded tot eh villagers, after all, and they didn't carry it.

here's what this thing actually goes and ill give an example for it. one time i was going with a team and i dont know the reason, but i didnt go up the hill where those mergoyles are in the city to get purified. then we go on our way and because some of the players were doing only bonus, when one of the villagers died, they left. so that left me alone, but the eye wasnt following me. so i think to myself to go try and get purified in the fountain. after that the eye started following me. therefore, you must get purified to get the eye to follow you.

Can you guys believe the eye has a to stay on paths and stuff?
Our eye got stuck last time I did that mission, we had to run back to it.
It was crazy.
I dunno it claims the eye "measures magical aptitude" We must be magic illiterates that can own their unseen gods .
Silly mersaat with their 85 degen attacks....

The thing about being 'purified' or whatever doesn't hold water cause you see the eye even before you get told that you have to be purified.
The eye can see you the whole time. It's all-seeing dontcha know.

I didn't like the way that Eye was looking at me.....D:

It was mentally undressing you...
I guess there is no real answer to this though.

alert until I have finished the game. I am well past the divinities coast, in the desert actually, and I was not expecting that info. Oh well guess its my fault. I stopped reading this thread at the point I quoted.
Take care everyone..........*runs off sobbing*
