Question about absorption rune

Would it be better for me to put it on my chest armor because it gets hit more often as oppose to putting it on my feet or hand ? Or does it not matter and it still absorbs the same amount of damage regardless of where it is ?

Had the same questions some1 told me it adds to all your armors when you use absorbtion rune.

Yeah, from what I understand it's a global thing regardless of which item you place it on. I tend to place the Absorption runes on an item I'll change the least frequently, like my Helmet, since one isn't guaranteed they'll get the rune out when salvaging their armor, and they are crazy expensive.
