Anyone give me a good way of getting ectos? I'm working on getting female FoW armor...currently on only 25 Shards, but I'm pretty dam determined to get it. I do 3-4 solo-forest runs a day, and when we dont have favour, I use my warrior to farm other spots to buy shards. Shards will be easy.
But ectos; as far as I know most of the UW solo builds are either 55-related, or Ritualist (or warriors, wedged behind the edge of some random ass steps). How did you guys get yours?
PS: I have no desire to spend 750k on Ectos :P

I just salvaged my mesmer and necro fissure. got 27 ectos and 16 shards, and 8 dust lol. and i'll probably be salvaging the rest of my chars later, and heres the only one ill keep :

Hehe I want FoW armor as well and I'm still farming crazy to get it 1 full FoW armor for my Ritualist. Something is saying me to buy the gold from ebay because these days it's just impossible to get it the normal way. Althought I did make 50k with this wintersday event by selling Gargoyle skulls.
All I can do when reading this topic is creaming out loud, how the hell did you people get it. That guy saying 2.5 week for Fow Armor, well I whish it was like that. I farm myself crazy and I took me so far 6 months to get half way 1 full FoW Armor price. :/ These days drops just suck, normal players are doomed to go to Ebay I guess.

Play a lot PVP. One good crytalline sword drop. Do chest runs. One good elemental drop. Read farming tutorials, try to be creative. If you buy money on ebay i will call you a looser
