How about for the PvP tombs during the 30 second to 1 minute countdown before the game starts allow players to quickly re-pick their skills. I thought the idea of meeting recognised players is to also learn what strategies they use and counter them. So if you know team x does only this and that wouldn't it be nicer having the option to change out your skills within that short amount of time to cater for it? This would be more like the paper, scissors, rock effect as the way it is now we have to commit to either of these 3 before we enter the arena. It'd also work nicely with those PvP games where it's good to have a runner to hold the obelisks.

Or, introduce sideboard skills sort of like the sideboard system in MTG. Have 3 skills you can allocate into one particular slot of your 8 skills making that one skill slot interchangable with 3 others you picked before entering the tomb. And you can only rotate these choices within the start of every match.

Then people would be creating builds for each specific victory condition. I think the team builds are already a little bit too much like paper/rock/scissors. I wish the team builds were a little more skill reliant, and a bit less "oh crap, we're facing our arch-nemesis build".
