How is this chat box added to your thread ?

It sure isnt ctrl c then ctrl v

So if you want to pick one question in someones thread and reply to it, how do i add the "Quote" box ?

put [ QUOTE ] without the spaces, and close it with [ /QUOTE ]

I think you can also put [ QUOTE=username ] where username is the person's name you're quoting from. i might be wrong though

you just put whatever you are quoting within the tags, so an example would be (without spaces)
[ QUOTE=Diabolus ] Blah blah blah [ /QUOTE ]
which will look like

You could just click on the 'Quote' button that sits on the right hand side of every post, and delete as appropriate as well.

Then just delete as appropriate, but Diabolus has already posted the more conveniant way of taking excerpts.

Also, right next to the "Quote" button is an "Edit" button. If you're wanting to add something to your post, you can edit the post and include that in your already-existing post. In order to keep the boards from getting cluttered, if nobody has posted after your last post, you should edit your existing post rather than creating a new one. This is especially the case when adding something soon after your previous post, as in the 2-minute interval between your posts in this thread.
