Weapons/Items/Upgrades guide??

I've been searching the Guru forums for a list of diffferent types of upgrades so as to have a better idea of what I may want or at least what to look for.....I know I saw something at one time but can't seem to find it now.

I more curious how to determine what stats are changeable or upgradeable for different weapons/staves etc. For instance if you find a Purple Sword that after identifying is 15-22dmg (max), Double Adrenaline per hit, +1 life steal, -1 energy regen <----which component(s) hold the Adrenaline, Life Steal, -1 Energy Regen.



Does that make any sense? I'm curious to learn more after seeing a very nice Staff someone was selling that had two different +'s to health that essentially made it better than 1 Sup Vigor.

It would help if you gave the exact name of the sword. But if memory serves from what you've described, you have an impossible sword (2 hilts). The name is what defines what can be changed. Zealous gives you the energy steal and degen. Furious gives you the double addren. You can't have both in a single weapon to my knowledge. The prefix (zealous, furious, etc) are controlled by the hilt. The suffix (of defense, of shelter, etc) are controlled by the swords pommel. From the name, you can determine which stat a new upgrade will replace.

Well I don't have a sword like that, this was simply an example and judging from that example you can tell my unfamiliarity with which components do what.

My real question was where to find a guide or listing of such upgrades so that I have an idea of what types of things to look for/keep. Based on your response, it makes me wonder how that staff I saw had two diff +'s to health along with the other bonuses if offered.
