Dilemma : Customizing my bow

I recently dropped 5k on a decent bow this morning it was :

poisoner's short bow of marksmanship
max dmg
+11%dmg when health above 50%
+1 marksmanship (11% chance when using skills)

I currently have it modded with a firey bow string.

I'm thinking this bow is worth a lot more (to other people) than i paid for it.

The question is, should I customize it?

chances are I'll have one of the most damaging bows in the game (seeing how I doubt anyone else would ever customize a weapon with stats higher than what mine is) = +20% dmg + 11% dmg when health above 50%.

cons
kill the resale value of it, but then again, I never really paid an enormous amount for it.


any feedback would be awesome, and thoughts of how much you feel its worth.

well it wouldnt be a poisoners shortbow of marksmanship if you add a firey bowstring. the poison aspect of the bow you bought is replaced if you add on the fire bow string

the +11% damage when above 50% health is decent, but that +1 to marksmanship IMO is kinda rubbish, i'd prefer a +XX to health bow grip instead



and after you customize it, no one else can use it, so all they could do is chance salvaging part of the bow

I understand about mods overwriting previous ones, and i plan to eventually by a decent grip of fortitude

Well, there's no point in having a max damage bow if you're not going to customize it. 20% damage is about +4 damage, so you're missing out on a lot of damage by not customizing it.

customize it if you want to kill faster.

don't customize it if you need gold right now.
