Urn for Althea

I feel embarresed just asking this question

Basically it is like this: I've saught out Althea and found her. I went to see her father. He ordered me to get her ashes from the Charr alter. I got that too. I went back to her father, he thanked me, and then handed me the urn with Althea's ashes.

This all took place during a week I played (I was busy with exams).

Anywho, I really want to give Althea her ashes, but I've forgotten where to find her (and the mission is gone, so no green arrows) !!

The search told me it was somewhere close to Nolani (which I suspected), another entry told me it was near the Charr alter. I've gone through both areas, though I may have missed her

Could someone please help me pinpoint her location?

I have noticed that i still have her ashes in my inv after the quest is completed.

EDIT: just read you post....

1st mission: Get quest, find her
2nd mission: Get urn, get her ashes bring them back to dude
3rd mission? Take the ashes to her??

I think that once you get to that point the quest is over isn't it?

The ashes can now be freely disposed of

So I can just toss it away?

Strange that I still have it then

no third quest just toss them

I noticed that the other day too - I had completed that Mission/Quest and I had been given the URN to get the ashes, fought like hell to get the ashes - returned to get "paid"...........now a couple days ago, I see Aletha's Ashes in my Inventory. I think this is a GLITCH in the game. Guess I'll feed them to a Charr for Dessert. ???????

I have a question. Can the urn be given to someone else to complete the quest without having to do the quest to get the ashes? Lots of ppl were trying to sell the ashes at Piken and Courthouse. I gave my urn away and the person claimed it didn't work, so I was quite surprised when someone said it did.

Anet should just make sure the urn disappears as soon as you complete the quest to prevent possible scams.

The URN does disappear when you complete the quest - you go back to the character who requested that you get her ashes and return them in the URN - but when you get back the urn is gone and you are holding just the ashes which look like that "Glittering" stuff.

This was my fav mission so far!. I liked making my way through the hords of charr and the ruins they inhabited.

Ahh so these ppl are actually selling the "glittering" stuff so other ppl can complete the quest without actually doing it.

Some ppl do have the urn even after the quest is completed. I know I did on a different char...but that was a few weeks back.

is this a confirmed bug then that I still have the urn even after completing the quest or is there a 3rd part to it where you give the urn to someone else?

I have a related question...

I thought that I had lost the mission (outleveled it... I didn't see it in my Quest lisy anyway for a while) so I dumped the urn I was supposed to put them in. However, when I completed a few other quests the Ashes one reappeared! Trouble is: I have nothing to put them in. Can I run it and complete it do you think?

i wish someone could answer these questions, or maybe point to where the answers are. i've searched this forum and others trying to verify the reason i and possibly many others still have the urn is a bug and haven't found anything supporting this. i assume that there then must be a 3rd part that no one has found yet that requires you to give the urn to someone.

Talk to Barradin again. He'll give you the urn you need to complete the mission.

n0tsane: There is no third quest. I don't know why you still have it.
