Cannot connect to the game server?

Currently, I'm able to log on to my account, modify it, etc. However when I attempt the load any of my characters, I am unable to proceed. If it helps, the Error ID is 50. Does anyone know what this means? Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm seeing the same error

Well, I got up and had some time to spare. So I went and got in and played for about 20 minutes then I froze in game. I was able to manipulate the menu, but the game itself froze. So I get out and try to get back in. I wait while it tries to connect, and get a error 5 message. Which tells me the server is down. It's no biggie, except that I had just finished the objectives of a mission and was just outside the new town I was heading to! AHHHHHH!!!

Tried a few more times with the same result. The game cannot connect because of server issues.
