Why can't they make freekin' teleporters that work ?

I am doing the Forgotten quest...I just spent 5 mins TRYING to operate a teleporter with 5 henchies..god..why does it have to be such a chore trying to do this ? I just logged out in frustration.
This is just damn irritating..the quest is hard, and then you have to piss with the teleporter..argh...

hencheman sometimes deny to come with me trough the teleporter. i die on the other side, hencheman dont follow and hang in an endless loop.

that would suck. I could also see how henchmen accidentally triggering the wrong switch could get annoying... although I've only now arrived in Amnoon Oasis

Nah, what he's saying is whenever he activates the teleporter and goes through, the henchmen don't follow through the teleporter, but get stuck on the other side. This has happened to me before... and it totally pissed me off. Working on quests and the teleporter denies that right.

What you do then is to activate the teleporter from the other side and teleport back, then teleport again.

The same thing happened to me. I teleported and was immediately swarmed by a group of enchanted weaponry. I started fighting, realized my henchies hadn't teleported and promptly died trying to activate the teleporter to go back and get them. I then watched the henchies run back and forth for about five minutes, hoping that they would warp to my location, and when they didn't I then mapped back to town.

The transporters seem... odd... to me in the first place. Overly complex bridges is all they are, especially since they transport you a whole 50 feet or so usually.

This has happened to me too, many times actually. Oh yeah, Garric, suck the end of my smite rod buddy. What happens is, you activate the portal fine, it's all glowy and stuff, you step through. Now you are on the other side, but, oh wait, none of your henchies decided to step through the portal with you. Now you've got a group of hydras or centaurs beating you to death while you try to run around them and activate the sequence again. But no, you die. Pisses me right off.

They need to spawn mobs a little farther away from the teleporter. Too many times I get to the other side just to die by loading. Other times it's people not staying on the teleporter til everone reloads. They bum rush the first mob which is usually attached to 3 other mobs. Good times.
