Where to find Spiny Seeds?

Anyone know? I've checked the fansites but not on there.

They're requested in the desert but nothing drops them in the desert so I'm assuming I have to import them. I was thinking from Maguuma jungles but only seeds I've ever seen there was gnarled ones.


Anyone know where these come from?

They should come from the Savage Cactus (name might be off a little). The "plant" things that pop-up from underground. There are a few in the south-western desert area. They also do not drop very often. Tend to make them fairly rare.
