What happened to The Falls?

I spent a long while getting to the Falls to do a quest. I get there, it tells me I can't get in, and then logs me off. And when I tried logging in again, it didn't work.

Does anyone know why this happened?

I was in the falls last night for about 2 hours, no problems for me.
