I played most of this weekend and got about 10 minor runes. In the WEEKS before this I got maybe 3. Did they up the chance of rune drops? I have a level 16 and a level 15 and it was the level 15 who got all the runes in areas my level 16 got squat from. Now I have so many they are filling up my inventory. I also got a gold axe (my second gold item ever) and a ton of purple items. Did I just have a good weekend or did they change something?

They should increase dye drops. The only effect is aesthetic so why make them so valuable?

I haven't received any runes in 2 weeks..so I don't know about the rate changes (if there were any). Aesthetic changes are expensive in real life (e.g. changing the color of your house or car)...

2 patches ago the rune drop rate supposedly increased.

Also was the quality of runes. Gold was supposed to unlock only majors and superiors.

I got 10 runes during the weekend so I suppose they increased rare and uncommon drops...

LOL actually from what I heard - the patch you speak of screwed up somehow and High level players got none. I went 2 weeks without a decent drop, then all of a sudden, after last patch, things return to a 'normal' drop rate... 7-10 this weekend for Runes and a number of halts and such.

7-10 runes only gave me 1 rune of use to my 4 characters...go figure, but its all good
