anyway of dealing with scammers?

i just got scammed...

thats the most irritating thing that ever happened to me..
and i fell for the oldest trick in the book!
its the one that someone trades you a look alike upgrade instead of the real one...
i allways check them but this time i was talking to the guy for almost an hour so i forgot...

im so pissed. i don't even want my stuff back i want this guy banned from guildwars! no, banned from life...

is there anyway of doing something about this sort of thing? to get him back somehow? i don't mean to sound spiteful but damn that was a kcik in the ***

Just be sure to always check the items before you agree. To me its practically 2nd nature, just to see what I'm getting as well as to make sure they aren't trying to scam me. You could probably send an e-mail to the devs, but I doubt they would take action against someone for doing something like this.

Take a frying pan, and proceed to beat yourself with it. Always check what you trade for!! What he did wasn't right by any means, but you've got to know better than that

You guys are dicks, blood I think there should be something in place to report scammers too. The other posters on here are exactly what keeps True life scammers in business. Old people get scammed everyday and never report it because everyone will call them stupid.

Sometimes people have to learn the hard way. You wouldn't buy a used car without test driving it and running a report on CarFax would you?
