end of game?

so my group killed the Lich and his minions. saw the cinematic that showed us escaping on a boat. then we all ended up in droknars. wtf? is that it? wher do we go from here? assistance appreciated.

You beat the game, good job.

Now all that's left to do is Fissure, Underworld, PVP, and unlock the rest of the skills/runes/weapons/armors/upgrades.

You should probably edit your post to have ** SPOILERS ** in it before someone gets upset. Even though your post clearly deals with the end of the game, some people will still be mad I guess

The only escape by boat in the game brings you at Anmoon oasis (after the Sanctum Cay test). For getting to Droknar you have to beat your miror (or doppelganger) and that's not a party quest; you have to face it yourself, all alone
If you really got from the Sanctum cay quest to Drognar, than it must be a bug, and you should report it.

You should re-read what you quoted. He said AFTER he beat the Lich, not Sanctum Cay.

...Interesting, for I assumed the end of the game is beating your mirror (doppelganger), do the dragon quest and thats it... Next are some bonus levels in the mountains. Am I wrong??

You have 3 missions after you defeat the 6 dragons which brings you to the Ring Of Fire Island Chain areas. 3 more missions there and you win. /gg

I think the ending in this game sucks , it doesn't feel like the story ends there. Anyone know if the expansion will tie everything up?

Isn't this only chapter 1? I assume they'll continue the story through more iterations.

There's so much left unexplained that ANet have material for quite a few expansions in the future. What happens to the remains of Ascalon fighting the Charr? What happens to the remains of the White Mantle? What happens to the Ascalon refugess in Kryta? What happens to the dwarves in the Shiverpeaks? Did the Lich actually manage to send some of his forces through the portal, hence the heroes are in fact too late?

Many things left to cover, and as one person mentioned, Cantha is another possibility (I'm thinking Cantha may have a Far Eastern motif ).
