I hope I'm not out of line posting this here, since I don't remember all the IGNs of those concerned (aside from one monk who I won't be teaming with again). But I wanted to apologize to the rest of the party I was with in Fissure (an Alchemist excluded) for a few hours yesterday. It's not my habit to abandon a party intentionally, although after about the third run-in, I think the rest of you saw it coming.
In the heat of the moment, I forgot to say this, but I apologize to the rest of you who weren't jumping in on the "wtf u doin standing there u da worst warr evr" bandwagon. And if you want an explanation, it's just as I was recommending earlier in the game: when the nasties were casting Spiteful Spirit on me, I was discontinuing physical attacks and switching to smites so I wouldn't be throwing more damage on myself and the rest of the party. And yes, I stood and took the hits, since my armor is hardier than that of most casters, last I checked.
Sometimes, I know better what I'm doing than a spectator.
Anyway, sorry for blowing up and ditching you -- there were some excellent players on that team.
Open letter to the party I was with in Fissure Yesterday

Sounds like you did know better than your spectators...and from the sounds of the way some of them acted, I wouldn't care if they did remember.
The good players will not hold it against you.

This is class. Hope you get good karma back for it. Better luck with your next group.

I swear, Those Shadow Beasts always pick the dumbest warrior with flurry or frenzy and casts spiteful on him. Every time that I've gone into the fissure, somwe dumbass warrior with an attack speed buff kills me. I hate it so much that I've actually stopped going into the Fissure for a while now. Thank you SisterMercy for being one of the few warriors that actually pays attention to what the hell is going on.
