what is max damage people say some stuff is max that is
17-28 but then i see something that is 23-31 which one is it

There are different max damages for different types of weapons, hammers have more than swords, stuff like that.

there is a guide that tells you the max damage for everything.

The max dmg for hammers is 35... I happen to have a purple one in my inventory that I am having a hard time selling (grrr)... but, hammers are definatly 35 max dmg
