I'm talking about the castle that is south of beacons perch, located just before you get to the next area. I got there a few days ago... we talked to some dude and next thing we know we're in the underworld with these black minotaur things attacking us... needless to say it was all over quickly and left us with a distint feeling of 'wtf'. So... anyone know what this place is?

All of the Grenth statues seem to allow you to teleport to the Underworld upon talking to the Voice of Grenth, not just the one in the Temple of Ages.
I remember a similar story not long ago.

The one statue will take you to UW. I'm not sure if its dependant on favor or not, but I'm assuming it is. I was with a group trying to get all the way through Lornars Pass but a member of the group accepted the mission. Everyone was quite irate with them needless to say.

yea.. just another crappy statue

We took about 5 hours getting to that point (9hours in total getting to Droknars Forge)

We didnt know that statue was there.. we were all very excited when we discoverd it. The excitment was soon to wair off.

when making that map they damn well knew that to get there would be a feat of worthy of the gods... they could have done something special

There's that place there...and dwayna in the zone just below it. Both allow you to purchase a regen buff and pay to lower your DP. Nothing special about them...sadly. You can also find big G in The Falls area. I'm sure there's many other places with the gods that i can't recall. Nothing special =(

Did you /kneel at it? /kneel will summon the god's avatar of the altar in question, from whom you can get blessings. It works, this is the Voice of Grenth at that altar, just a week ago
