Warriors & Energy & Armor

I play a lvl20 Ascended Smiting W/Mo. I currently wear full Gladiator's Armor from Droknar's. That set gives a total of +8 to energy. I also use a 14-21 Sword w/ +5 and an Ankh w/ +10 energy and +5 armor. So with the natural 20 energy, that gives my warrior a total of 43 energy with it's measly 2 pip regen. This set allows me to solo certain areas while casting expensive monk spells such as Balthazar's Aura. The problem is, I would like to add some sort of damage reduction such as the kind found on Ascalon Armor or Knight's Armor. What do most people substitute out of the Gladiator's Armor to accomodate a damage reduction piece from another set?

well. have u added an absorption rune yet. a minor/or major/or superior? does the same thing w/ any set. (since abs dont stack. adding one to a piece will do the job)

So you're saying that an absorption rune wouldn't stack with a piece of armor that has an inherent absorption attribute already on it?

thats what they say. if you want total details search the many topics on abs rune.

it basically replaces.

its like. if u dont have an abs rune, use the boots knights or ascalon for absorption.

added: from what theyve tested recently, you can stack an abs rune w/ a knights boots to get optimal reduction.

well just find take a piece of your gladiatiors armor that only gives 1 energy, and replace it with a piece of knights armor, adn then put a superior absorbstion in that piece of armor
