What does "For creatures within its range" mean?
danfrancisdo
This statement is associated with a number of "spirit" skills. Does this mean that these is a radius about the spirit that it applies to? Does it mean within the range of the bow or other?
If it means within the range of the spirit how much of a radius is it?

There is a radius. I don't know the range though.

Any idea how to determine this?

Go ask in the forums, there are sure to be people who know.

Supposedly ranges in the game are as follows:
Meelee Range = 2 ft
"Adjacent" = 13 ft
"Near" = 20 ft
"In the Area/Location" = 26 ft
Shout Range = 39 ft
Casting Range = 88 ft
Aggro circle = 88 ft
Meelee Range = 2 ft

"In the Area/Location" = 26 ft
Shout Range = 39 ft
Casting Range = 88 ft
Aggro circle = 88 ft

no this range is larger than aggro.. i would say that the range would equal the same distance as a long bow range.

When enemy ranger creatures use spirits, I feel the effects from them, but I don't aggro them, so Aggro range is smaller than spirit range.

the range on nature rituals is huge basicly your radar size.
don't put to much stock in these numbers. adjecent is basicly mele range and near can mean almost anything. ex. chilblains has a much larger aoe than heal area.

I agree, about the size of your radar map.

Wow, I hate to say it, but you're all wrong. No offense, though, but Nature Rituals have a certain range depending on their level. A level 8 spirit will have a larger radius than a level 6 in the same spot. Also, this depends on the spirit too. Some spirits, despite being a lower level, have the same range as a higher level. At least I think that last part's correct, as I want to say I noticed it not too long ago with a few overlapping spirits.
I don't have consistent data on it, but it's a heck of a lot longer range than a longbow, possibly 150ft or more with a high-level spirit. Low-level spirits barely cover a 100ft radius.

Generally speaking you know you are in range or out of range when you see the spirit icon show up in the upper left hand corner. To test, as a Ranger simply cast any spirit that has some time value to it. Run away until the icon disappears then run back and you will see the icon reappear as u get back into range and the icon depicting the spirit should also be visible. That is about the only way I know to see the effect of the said spirit.
