What colors are for what classes regarding boss monsters?

fo as far as i know

yellow: warrior
Purple: mesmer
red: elementalist
blue: monk
green: ranger and necromancer

Warrior ...........Yellow
Elementalist .....Red
Mesmer ...........Purple
Monk ..............Blue
Necromancer ....Dark Green

I really wish they'd make the necros a little closer to black though, since not all ranger bosses use bows -- some just like to throw things

In those cases, I tend to go by what type of mob it is (like I've never seen a ranger Wind Ryder).. but even that can screw you up because lots of mobs that spawn as ranger also spawn as necros! And if the artwork on that mob uses mostly dark textures...

Sometimes you just have to wait until they start attacking..
