Here are some lingo and what they really mean...

"C/O" or "c/o" - current offer
Example. "WTS POS item description goes here C/O 30k"
Actual meaning... "No one is really offering that exuberant amount, I just want to rip you off at this amount or higher."
Alternate meaing... "This POS item is actually worth 1/10th of the C/O value."

"serious offers only"
Actual meaning... "If you are not willing get ripped off, don't bother me."

I'm sure you guys can think of more.

W/Mo LFG

Means: Everybody cut me down and laugh that I use such a common profession combination.

Or: Hey everyone, I'm going to aggro 20 things and get us all killed.

---

Seriously, the majority of my guild wars days (beta and retail) has been with my W/Mo. Unless I construct a resume of how I'm not stupid no one ever lets me join.

Example: W/Mo LFG for UW/Fissure. I follow orders, I don't run ahead, I don't quit mid mission. I use def.skills so monks don't have to babysit me.

I wish I didn't have to type so much to get into a simple group. And as for starting my own group...HA!! That ne-heever goes anywhere.

^ too true!

I've resorted to the resume thing just to get in most of the time.

even they its a long wait.

the problem is that people assume your an idiot because of your professions
