in the late game how hard is it to get like 60k
right now i have a hard time getting 10k i am a lvl14 R/N

still ... not all enemies can and do drop gold ... peirod ... I go and take out 8-16 trolls and get 145 gold and a crappy 10-17 white flatbow? The battle alone will take a minute and change and doesnt really seem that efficient when sharing with a few other members. At that rate in a group of 4 ... I would make 2 plat in one hour fighting constantly... I go up snake dance all the time, and perdition rock ... but still the drop seem poor (cash i mean) and the items even worse.

yeah its funny but ther is still plenty of places to aquire legit gold and that they dont know. one of them is that marhan grotto chest, the other is kryta gate if oyu go behind house they still drop runes, whic sell. another place is delasio seaboard, place to aqure money near dunes of despair go out activate gate, find 2 chest wulay

Gold is fairly easy to come by if you know how.
Needless to say it does involve a minor amount of farming. How and where I do mine is for me to know and other to never find out since I don't want my farming areas nerfed.

if you play the market right, you can multiply your gold really easily.
for instance i started off with 500 gold and invested it in some newbie who was sellign black dye. took it and sold it for 3 plat... rinse repeat and looked for deals... traded items that players wnat, etc. now im at 100 plat just by about a day or two of trading.

BTW farming is for losers (cept in FoW for shards and ectoplasm)

You farmers are going to hate me once I get my Fissure armor so are the PvPers. I will spend 1.4 Million on superior beastmastery runes raising the price so high you don' no what to do and once you all farm em I will sell 1.4Million worth of them in like 2 miniutes and crash the market. Same with black dye and superior vigiors and basically any item which I feel the price is to outrageous for will be faced with my massive gold powers. I also have 4 friensds who are going to do this.What fun the markets will be when we nuy 200K weapons and give em to newbs for free.
In case you cant figure this out 1.4 *5 = 7 million/125 (the cost of a superior beastmastery) = 56,000 runes that will be bought from the trader ( just give the extras to our friends and guildes to hold) imagine the price rise. The once they hit about 70K we sell all that we have and lower the market again.
Now imagine this with a new item every week. What item do you hoard in the hopes that we make it worth lots or decrease its value drastically? You never know.

Emperor, I will back you up on that so much it won't even be funny man. When I first started playing, a RARE wep, max dmg, 20/20 charge or +15% dmg while >50% health went for like 15K. Now they're over 100. It's cause of all these bots players have running around. I bought my 20/20 first staff for 10K. I'll be lucky if I ever see a Max Dmg fire staff with +25 Health going for 10K. I find it ridiculous how much money these botters are making, and how much they're driving the inflation rate up. AND, now you can't even sell a wep that isn't max dmg. I foudn a rare Vampiric Hammer 16-31 dmg, 4-1 life stealing, +20 health and +11% dmg when hexed, NOBODY would buy it. I tried for days. These botters make me sick. Add me to your friends list - Skye Spellbreaker, and when you want to crash the market, I'll throw my cash in the pot too.

lol that would be funny to crash the market but then arena net would soon find out wat is going on and they would probably somehow stop it. they do monitor this game that why they nerfed farming, if they see a bunch of runes being bought they will supply the merchante more. but it could work only question i have is how you gonna give 57,000 runes to your guild mates inst . oh and another thing wat couses the price for runes at rune trader to go down and up is it because people sell them those runes and couse sup vigor went down alot it went down to like 50k. which is wack since i finaly got 3 of them yesterday with my precious ettins. i think ill just hold them till the weekend when prices go up again.

I just used the runes as an example. Do it with anyother item say steel or shards. Exactly its people selling to the trader now would you try to sell for more by selling to another person? Prolly. Other person won't buy because they fear that the value of the item will tank. If it tanks and now that sup vigior costs only 15K 2 hours after you paid 60K for it you would feel very bad and be very leery of making purchases becasue the value droopes so much.
As for ANet noing what is going on good for them. This is supposed to be a temperort fix until they implament some goldsinks. If they see me crashing the ecomony they may very well put in the sinks and I go away, to return when inflation gets to high again.

Emperor. when you buy all these rune, or whatever items, dont you have to buy them one at a time, and wont the price go up whilst doing this, nto just jump up when you dont at the end, so youl not make as much money as you think, although the runes you got while they were cheap will make up for it I suppose.

This might've already been said, but try farming outside of the Gates of Kryta? I farm there against the Mergoyles, and it only takes about 5 minutes and you get a good 300 gold each run. That's until you can take on other things.

I get stuff that normaly sells at 75K for a fraction of the price all the time. The prices are ridiculous because people are willing to pay it. If no one bought anything at 75K, no one would jack up the price that high. Just last night there was a max damage chaos axe for sale at 20K. I have bought three, and not one of them cost me more than 2K. But you can rest assured that someone coughed up the 20K for that one.
