Taming bears?

are these only available in post searing now? and, if i train a bear, and another time, i train a hog over it.. will i still have the bear option?

does anyone wanna help me train one in post searing later on lol.

From what I know they are only available in post searing, however there is a rumor (search the boards) about being able to tame a bear pre-sear using two people.

u can always give the hog to the Tamer dude... and then go get a bear... but say bye-be to the hog cause u won't get him back...

as for taming a Bear... i don't think they have changed it... so i guess u can still get the Bear in pre-searing... but ur gonna need someone to tank for u while u charm it..

Find one of those warrior monks who just love charging everything. They would be perfect fo this.

...Unless s/he manages to kill it before you can charm it....

I have had every pet in the game except the black widow,and i know for a fact if you have turn in a pet you can get the same type of pet again.I turned in a lvl 20 wolf for a bear turned in the bear tamed another wolf and after a couple kills he went to lvl 20.

How did you get top secret notepads of me trying to charm a bear?!

There are bears to be found in the Thunderhead keep mission if you looking for one.

Once you get to the final part of the mission where you need to defend the fort, all the need to do is run outside and your come across some bears outside the fort.

I'll help you try and get one, but it'll have to be when I get off from work. PM me if you are really serious about trying to get one. I'll equip my hammer knockdown which should help....

A friend and I tried in pre-searing. I had a W/N and he had a ranger of course. I would cast faintheartedness and try to use knockdown when the bear would cast break charm. We were unsuccessful every time because the bears can cast break charm over and over before knockdow would recharge.

Yep they added break charm pre-sear and people found a way around it, so they fixed it

someone on here posted a method that allowed to tame a bear in pre-sear....atleast I thought he did

he did, but i heard that the dev fixed it

Yep it got the hammer from the dev twice so no you cannot!!!
