How does beta work?

It is called beta weekend event, does that mean you play each weekend before release? or all the time until it comes out

only one beta per month, and the last one is april 15-17 and the game releases on the 28th, but if you preorder before april 14th and get a beta pass you can play on the 15th-17th and then you can get in on the 27th instead of the 28th

can be shipped on the 26th

preorders can start playing on the 27th

the rest of the regular buyers can purchase at stores on the 28th
