Damn..I had an unbeatable group going in UW once. Not one of us died once until we got to that quest. We were slaughtered

once you figure out how it works its not actually that difficult. its the figuring out part that will wipe you a million times.

we did it the same way we usually do things in underword - we exploit the creature AI and choke points. that and we ran elemental resistance which does actually make a huge difference. between that and winter/mantra of frost, all the secondary mesmers didnt really have any problems.

the reaper is a gangster by the way. slap protective bond on him and seed him. he'll drop maelstroms on the dryders and he can do it fast.
